Welcome to Castle FM Scotland, Edinburgh’s bigger local mix!

Launched on 23rd March 2012 by Sir Tom Farmer, Castle FM Scotland broadcasts on 98.8FM in Edinburgh & The Lothians. You can also listen live by clicking on the logo to the right or via the tune in radio app on your smartphone or tablet computer. The station is entirely run by volunteers and firmly rooted in the city’s community. We are a non-profit organisation which aims to produce the kind of radio programmes you won’t hear on mainstream radio and be as all-encompassing in our remit as possible. Our daytime programming contains the latest news, travel and weather mixed with the very best music and chat. Our evening and weekend schedule is more diverse; from the now legendary Monday night football phone in, our internationally acclaimed Tuesday night electronic music through to the much loved Sunday afternoon country music show. We have a huge range of talent and programming on the station to suit all listeners; you will not hear more original radio anywhere else!
